About the 62 series
The workhorse. Electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyor rollers, anything with a moderate load and real speed. If you pull a bearing off a motor and it's metric, it's probably a 62 or a 63.
2RS keeps dirt out and grease in, but runs warmer and slower. ZZ shields run cooler but let fine dust through. Dirty or wet: 2RS. Fast and clean: ZZ or open with oil.
Motors usually want C3 clearance. The rotor heats up and grows; a CN bearing can run tight and die early.
